37th Annual Over the Hill Downhill

  • The 2018 Alpine Masters National Championships, sponsored in part by Phillips 66, will be hosted by Eastern Division at Okemo on Feb. 6-10, 2018. The nationals are a four-event championships with an alpine-combined along with the 3-event SG/GS/SL races for the combined age class champions scoring.

    The Alpine Combined event results are included in the Divisions Cup scoring as well as the Spyder national masters team awards. The overall national age class champions are scored on the triple-combined results of the SG, GS, and SL races, according to the national championship scoring rules.

    The 2018 national championship DH will be hosted by Rocky Division at Ski Cooper on Mar. 8-11, 2018.

    The downhill championship is a standalone national medal event and is not included in the Divisions Cup, triple-combined SG-GS-SL national class champions, or Spyder National Masters Team awards scoring.

  • 37th Annual Over the Hill Downhill (OTHDH) 2018

    It’s time to dig out the long skis and race suit, channel your need for speed, and head to Silver Star Mountain Resort for The 37th Annual HollisWealth Over the Hill Downhill February 3-4, 2018.

    OTHDH is a fun recreational and masters downhill race for the young and young at heart. This incredibly fun and long running recreational downhill ski race pits individuals and teams of four against each other for the glory of being the fastest down the mountain. Teams can register in a category based on the combined team age ranging from 65 to 225+ years or in specialty categories: Disabled, Corporate, or Recreational or Individual. Team registration includes awards banquet, souvenir item, door prizes, slide show, and a chance to win some amazing prizes.

    Feeling a little rusty on the long skis? Come learn from our superb coaching staff how to race and stay in control January 30 – February 3, 2018. The OTHDH Speed Camp provides great preparation for the OTHDH race or just a fun way to learn about racing. Click here for details.

    First time downhillers and seasoned veterans will all benefit from joining Gord Brown and his team of expert coaches for the four day ‘Over the Hill Downhill Training Camp’. Campers can get 4 to 5 runs a day on a fully fenced and immaculately groomed course. New racers can be at ease while improving their skills on a gentle track, while expert races can experience the thrill of speeds up to 110km/hr.
