Crystal Mountain Alpine Club (CMAC)

CMAC Masters is open to ANYONE that wants to improve their skiing and generally have a ton of fun on the hill. You don’t have to be young OR fast to join, just interested in learning some new skills and sharing time on the hill with a great group of people!

We are looking forward to a great winter with lots of training and racing opportunities. CMAC Masters is now both Saturday and Sunday until mid January. Then the program will be focused on Saturdays, but if you would like to train on Sundays after mid-January our Masters sub coach, and Junior programs can be utilized for training. Informal training will start as soon as the snow flies and our first official outing will be first weekend in December.


Schweitzer Alpine Racing School (SARS)

A flexible adult race training and all mountain skiing program designed to meet the needs of busy adults during the week or on weekends. Top notch coaching with emphasis on the latest techniques appropriate to your skills and interests.

Weds/Thurs and Sat/Sun training available.


Stevens Pass Alpine Club (SPAC)

Master’s programs (ages 21+): The Masters Program is for racers 21 + years old. Ski racing at its best is all about the love of the sport, and Masters is ski racing at its best. No racing career to worry about, no parents’ or coaches’ expectations to live up to; just the racing. And there’s always another race. Join fun-loving racers of all age classes and abilities at a different ski area almost every winter weekend. Whether you’re 21 years old, or 80+, never raced, or a World Cup winner, your speed is relative, but your ski racing enjoyment is absolute!


Centerline Academy

Our Master’s level program is for racers 18+ years old. Ski racing is all about the love of the sport, and Masters is ski racing at its best in bringing friendly competition and comradery to skiers who want to advance their skills and stoke their competitive fires.

At CSA we have training on Wednesday & Thursday evenings, as well as Sunday at Snoqualmie Summit West. Wednesday and Sunday are GS and Thursday is Slalom. You can buy single day drop ins for $35, payable on the hill or a six pack bundle for $210 (good for 6 days of your choice), a single day season $360 (like every Sunday), a double day season $415 (like every Thursday and Sunday) or the full meal deal $570 (all three days whenever you want). We usually start the middle of December with skills drills, moving to gates in January through the end of March.

Steve is a certified 300 level competition coach, with a deep race background including his own race time on the World Cup, and he has assembled a supporting group of coaches with 100 level to 200 level USSA coaching certifications.

City League Recreational Team Ski Racing

Weeknight head to head team ski racing at Alpental and Summit West. They offer occasional weekend drop in training as well.




The Alpental Masters program is designed for advanced and expert adult men and women skiers who are looking to challenge themselves and continue to improve their technical and tactical skills prescribed by the USSA Alpine Training System (ATS). The program is a great training tool for skiers who compete in PNSA Masters races around the Pacific Northwest and at the USSA and FIS National levels. Alpental Masters is also great for high level recreational skiers looking to advance their skills or for ex-racers just looking to get back into the gates for fun.

Alpental Masters is headed up by John Forsen, USSA Certified Coach and Referee and a highly-experienced staff of USSA coaches who are certified Coaches and Officials; and active competitors, too – Rand Little, Knut Olberg, Tim Reinhardt, Bob Gue, Jeff Bailey, Ian McFail, Dave Russell, Nate Fears, and Chris Carlucci. Alpental Masters is 8 weeks of Tuesday afternoon and night coaching and training and serious GS and SL gate-bashing and performance feedback from the coaches on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Depending on your optimum performance goals, you can choose to train on one day, two days, or all three. WHAT: A ski racing camp just for women! Learn how to race or improve your giant slalom and slalom (brush gates for slalom – no slalom padding required).
Moms – Get a taste of what your junior racers are doing.
Already a racer? It’s a rare chance to be coached by one of the top masters racer in the world, Lisa Densmore Ballard, and other top coaches in the northwest.

COST: $85. Includes tech talks, coaching, video analysis, continental breakfast on Saturday morning, fun race on Saturday afternoon, apres-ski party with door prizes.

Participants should be at least 18 years of age and intermediate or better skiing ability.
